Video Game Worlds Collide in BobaLUG's Latest LEGO Masterpieces

Your wallet can breathe easy. No specific LEGO sets were announced here, just a spectacular display of fan creativity. BobaLUG, a global LEGO builder community, recently unveiled a collection of MOCs (My Own Creations) inspired by some of the biggest video games out there. We're talking everything from horror classics to sci-fi epics.

This wasn't just a few builders showing off; it was a full-blown collaboration that debuted at Brickworld Chicago. Eleven new scenes brought beloved gaming worlds to life in brick form. Builders like Daniel J. Di Traglia tackled the stylized 2D platformer Nine Sols, adapting its unique look into a surprisingly realistic 3D LEGO scene. Then there's Andrew, who took a moment from the 13-year-old juggernaut GTA V to build a slice of urban grunge that’s seriously detailed.

The horror fans were not left out. Matt and Maclean teamed up for tributes to Silent Hill 2, with a hidden Pyramid Head that only true fans will spot. They also recreated scenes from Silent Hill f, and Matt went solo to build a chilling church from Resident Evil 4 and a scene from Resident Evil Village. More sci-fi came from Matt’s interpretation of a drone invasion in Prey, and Maclean’s homage to the classic shooter Marathon.

Of course, with a name like BobaLUG, Star Wars games had to make an appearance. Maclean built a vignette from Jedi Fallen Order and collaborated on a scene from Jedi Survivor. Even Minecraft got the LEGO treatment, with Isaiah Kepner creating a sophisticated interpretation of the voxel world. The collection also included pieces from a prior Last of Us collaboration, showcasing both the end of Part 1 and a raid from Part 2.

These aren't official LEGO sets you can buy, but they are proof of what dedicated builders can achieve. The level of detail and atmosphere captured in these MOCs is seriously impressive. If you’re a gamer and a LEGO fan, this is the kind of creativity that fuels the hobby.
