Two New LEGO Botanicals Sets Bloom August 1st

LEGO's popular Botanicals collection is getting two new additions, set to launch on August 1st. The series, known for bringing the beauty of nature into brick form, continues with the Hanging Golden Pothos and the Dark Flower Arrangement.

The Hanging Golden Pothos (set number unknown) will feature 372 pieces. Its counterpart, the Dark Flower Arrangement (set number unknown), boasts a larger count of 562 pieces. Both sets are priced at £54.99, US$59.99, or €59.99 internationally. Exact pricing for India remains unconfirmed, but given the international figures, expect a significant investment.

While the article praises both designs, calling them "superb" and sure to be popular, it notes they aren't particularly groundbreaking within the theme. This sentiment echoes some fan discussions, with comments pointing out that while the Pothos looks remarkably realistic, the price for its piece count is raising eyebrows. Some fans question the value proposition when compared to real plants, while others defend the LEGO versions due to practical reasons like pet safety or a lack of a green thumb.

The Dark Flower Arrangement, especially with its "Halloween time" appeal, seems to be a strong contender for many. However, the debate around the price-to-piece ratio for the Pothos is likely to continue until official Indian pricing is revealed. It’s a familiar pattern: excitement for new LEGO releases, followed by a careful calculation of whether the joy is worth the cost.

No official Indian pricing has been announced yet for these two new LEGO Botanicals sets. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for availability, and you can expect a 4–6 week lag from the global August 1st launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

The Botanicals line has proven its market appeal, and these new sets are poised to join the ranks of popular displays for plant lovers and LEGO fans alike. Whether the realism of the Pothos or the aesthetic of the Dark Flower Arrangement wins out will depend on individual taste, but the price point is certainly a talking point.

Keep building, keep dreaming... And don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
