Your wallet can relax for now. No concrete set numbers or prices have surfaced from the latest LEGO Star Wars rumour mill, just a rather charming fan build. Brothers-Brick highlighted a collaborative creation by Ivy Powers and Grammaticul this week, depicting a scene from Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It’s a wonderfully playful take on Naboo’s aquatic life, specifically that rather large fish that had an even larger fish problem.
This MOC (My Own Creation) brings a delightful cartoonish aesthetic to the swamps of Naboo. The standout feature is the cutaway bubble house, which cleverly utilizes a relatively new cockpit element. It gives the whole build a unique look, and the placement of a stormtrooper nearby hints at the inevitable fate of any smaller creature in this ecosystem. That exclamation mark above the stormtrooper’s head? Pure genius. It perfectly captures the moment before he becomes part of the food chain.
While this isn't an official LEGO set, it’s a good reminder of the creativity within the LEGO Star Wars community. It sparks the imagination and shows how even background elements from the films can inspire incredible builds. We’ve seen official sets tackle many aspects of Star Wars, but the smaller, more humorous moments often get overlooked. Perhaps LEGO might take a cue from fan creations like this, bringing more of the galaxy's quirky characters and scenes to brick form.
For now, though, this is purely a fan-made piece of art. There are no official set numbers, no retail prices, and certainly no availability dates. It’s a bit of fun, a great build, and a reminder that sometimes the most memorable characters aren't the Jedi or Sith.
If this were officially sold in India, it would cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix Premium. My and Toycra are the stores to watch for any future official Star Wars releases, though this particular build is fan-made and not an official set. Use code ABHINAV12 for 12% off on orders above ₹500 at Toycra. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch for any official sets.
Keep building, keep dreaming... And don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.
