LEGO X-Files Set (21369) Officially Revealed: Prepare Your Wallet

The X-Files are back, and so is your wallet's anxiety. LEGO has officially pulled back the curtain on the X-Files set, number 21369, and it's not for the faint of wallet. This set packs under 1500 pieces and comes with a hefty $200 USD price tag. That's the kind of money that makes you pause and consider your life choices, or at least your monthly LEGO budget. For fans who have been waiting for this iconic sci-fi series to get the LEGO treatment, the reveal is exciting, but the price point is a definite conversation starter.

Details are still emerging, but the set appears to be based on the iconic FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, along with elements from their investigations. The source video, a YouTube upload, shows off the buildable FBI headquarters and key characters. It's a fan-demanded theme, and LEGO has finally delivered. The sheer number of pieces, while under 1500, suggests a detailed build, and the $200 USD price point aligns with other large, complex sets in the LEGO Ideas line. It’s a significant investment, so you’ll want to weigh the build experience and display value against the cost.

This isn't just about the set itself; the source also hints at an important Gift With Purchase (GWP) being tied to this release. What that GWP is remains a mystery for now, but it's likely to be something equally thematic to entice fans to buy the set sooner rather than later. Given the price and the theme's popularity, expect this to be a sought-after item. We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details on the GWP and the official Indian release.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely stock this set 4–6 weeks after the global launch, but keep an eye on their sites for exact availability and any potential pre-order bonuses. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

For those who have followed the X-Files for years, this set is a dream come true. The build looks intricate, and the minifigures of Mulder and Scully are a must-have for any fan. However, the $200 USD price tag is a serious consideration. It’s a prime example of a set that demands careful budgeting. Whether it’s worth the investment depends on your personal connection to the X-Files and your tolerance for high price points in your LEGO collection. We’ll have to wait and see if any early Indian pricing or GWP details surface.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
