LEGO Witch's Lair: A Spooky Staycation You Can't Book

Forget haunted houses, this year it's all about the haunted Airbnb. Your wallet can finally relax a bit, because this particular spooky staycation is purely theoretical. We're talking about Alexandr Afanasenkov's latest LEGO creation, a witch's lair designed to look like a disturbingly charming countryside cottage. At first glance, the tiled roof and autumn foliage suggest a cozy retreat, the kind you might book for a quiet weekend away. But step inside, and you'll quickly realize this is no ordinary rental.

The real star here, and the source of all the delightful dread, is the witch minifigure. Forget your standard cartoon villains; this character is genuinely unsettling, looking like she crawled straight out of a Grimm fairy tale. Afanasenkov has a serious talent for crafting LEGO figures that give you the creeps in the best possible way. This isn't just a build; it's a story waiting to unfold, and you suspect it doesn't end with s'mores around a campfire.

While this creation is a masterpiece of macabre design, it's important to note that this isn't an official LEGO set. There's no set number, no retail price, and no availability on LEGO.in or Toycra. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. It’s a fan-made marvel, proof of what builders can achieve outside the official system. You won't find this listed on any store shelves, leaving only the grey market or personal travel as avenues for acquisition, should a similar official set ever appear. For now, it remains a beautiful nightmare, a perfect piece for any Halloween display or a collector of the delightfully dark.

Official Indian pricing hasn't been announced yet. LEGO.in and Toycra are the stores to watch for official sets, but this MOC is not available through them. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch for official sets. If this were officially released, it would cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix Premium, assuming LEGO India's usual enthusiasm for your wallet.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.
