LEGO Super Mario Kart Sets for 2027 Revealed

LEGO has dropped more images of the upcoming Super Mario Kart sets, and your wallet is already bracing for impact. These sets, slated for a January release, are officially out of the rumour mill and into the realm of "here's what you might actually buy." We're talking minifigure-scale Mario Kart action, which is a departure from the previous buildable figure focus.

The new batch of images includes box art and more detailed shots, giving us a clearer look at the seven sets hitting shelves. The smallest is 72052 Mario's Pipe Jump with just 61 pieces, followed by 72054 Racing with Mario at 84 pieces. Then we have 72055 Mario's Beach Adventures (196 pieces), 72056 Luigi & Bowser Jr.'s Race (104 pieces), and 72057 Yoshi at Mario's House (147 pieces). The larger sets include 72058 Bowser's Rumbling Race with 409 pieces, and the biggest one, 72060 Fire Mario & Bowser's Castle, boasting a hefty 850 pieces. There's also 72061 Fire Luigi vs. Koopa Troopa Battle with 241 pieces.

Early reactions from the comments section are mixed, but many seem excited about the new direction and the price points. The box art is apparently a highlight for some, with one commenter calling it "some of the best Box art I've ever seen." The minifigure-scale approach, especially for the Bowser's Castle set, is being praised for its play features and design. However, some fans feel the previous Super Mario iterations covered all their needs.

For collectors in India, the wait begins. Official pricing and availability are still TBD, but based on the US retail prices, we can estimate the cost. The smallest set, 72052 Mario's Pipe Jump, is $9.99 USD.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely stock these 4–6 weeks after the global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

With multiple sets releasing, it's probably wise to pick and choose which ones fit your collection and budget. While the prices seem reasonable for licensed sets, waiting for potential deals or bundles might be the smartest move.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

Updated 1 Oct 2026: estimated price removed; official Indian pricing not yet announced.
