LEGO Star Wars 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer Announced: Your Wallet Cries in Galactic Standard

Your wallet has just been served with an Imperial decree. LEGO has officially revealed the Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457), a colossal UCS set that makes Darth Vader's flagship look suitably terrifying. Fifteen years after the original 10221, this new behemoth is set to dominate display shelves and bank accounts alike.

This isn't just a big set; it's the longest LEGO Star Wars model ever built, stretching over 53.5 inches (136 cm). To achieve this, LEGO engineers used a clever system of Technic outriggers to support the massive exterior panels. The detail is reportedly intense, featuring dense greebling contrasted with sleek sides. They've even engineered a new decorated tile graphic to simulate hull lights organically across the massive hull.

But what about the minifigures? This set includes the big man himself, Darth Vader, and for the first time, all six bounty hunters: Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss. There's even a minifigure-scale bridge scene to recreate that iconic bounty hunter meeting. It sounds like a builder's dream, but this dream comes with a price tag that would make a Hutt blush.

The set boasts 6,130 pieces and is aimed squarely at the 18+ crowd, meaning it’s packed with complex building techniques. It also comes with a display stand and a smaller Star Destroyer, complete with a tiny Millennium Falcon, a cheeky nod to the Executor's immense size. This is definitely a display piece, not a playset.

In India, the LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457) carries an official MRP of ₹76,500. While no Indian stores have it listed yet, expect MyBrickHouse and Toycra to potentially stock it within 4–6 weeks of the global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. That price is roughly equivalent to 10 months of Netflix Premium or a decent used autorickshaw. MyBrickHouse | Toycra.

The global price is set at US$799.99, and the release date is October 1st, 2026. Early birds buying between October 1st and 10th will also snag a free LEGO Darth Vader's Lightsaber (40897) set, while stocks last. If you're a die-hard Star Wars fan with deep pockets and ample display space, this is probably on your radar. For everyone else, that price might just be too much to bear.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
