LEGO Space Racers: Which Speedster Wins Your Wallet?

Three custom LEGO space racers just dropped, and your wallet is already sweating. Forget spaceships; these are pure speed demons built for a contest we know nothing about, but desperately want to be part of. Japanese builder dak_yuki shared these custom creations on social media, and suddenly, your existing LEGO collection feels a little… stationary.

We’ve got the blue-and-orange Ganondoria, packing a thruster that looks like it could outrun a supernova. Then there’s the Abyss Maker, rocking Mercedes F1 vibes with its colour scheme and what look like borrowed stickers. Finally, the pointy Speed Way 100 screams WipeOut, a feeling we can definitely get behind. Choosing between them is the real challenge here.

The Brothers Brick featured these custom builds, and while they didn't give us official set numbers, they did spark a desire for some high-speed LEGO action. We're talking about custom builds, so there are no official LEGO set numbers, no confirmed prices, and definitely no availability in Indian stores. This means if you want one, you're either building it yourself or hunting down a custom creator.

If these custom LEGO race ships were officially released in India, expect the price to be a painful conversation starter. That's roughly the cost of 15 months of Spotify Premium. MyBrickHouse and Toycra would be the first places to check for availability, but until then, it's import or DIY. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

These custom creations are a reminder that LEGO is more than just official sets. It's about imagination, speed, and maybe a little bit of F1 sponsorship. Which one would you race off the shelves? The Ganondoria, the Abyss Maker, or the Speed Way 100? The choice is yours, but your bank account might not thank you for it. It's a good thing these aren't actual sets, or we'd all be in trouble.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
