LEGO Shrek Collectible Minifigures Series (71053) officially revealed for September 2026!

The wallet is already bracing itself. LEGO has officially unveiled its next Collectible Minifigures series, and it’s all about Shrek. Yes, you read that right. Prepare for a Land Far Far Away in your brick collection.

This is the first licensed CMF series of 2026, designated as set number 71053. It's scheduled for a global release on September 1, 2026. As is tradition, these will come in blind boxes, each typically containing three complete sets. The characters confirmed include Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Pinocchio, Gingy, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Thelonious, Big Bad Wolf, Merlin, Lord Farquaad, Fairy Godmother, and Prince Charming. It's a decent roster, pulling from the iconic Dreamworks animation.

Given Shrek's status as an internet meme staple and a beloved 2000s movie, this series is poised for significant popularity. It also ties in nicely with the larger 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots set that dropped in June 2026. Plus, with Shrek 5 slated for 2027, LEGO is certainly betting on the swamp-dwelling ogre's enduring appeal.

The US price is set at US$4.99 per blind bag. This translates to an estimated import price in India of around ₹470. Official Indian retail prices and availability are not yet confirmed.

Indian pricing wasn’t announced when we wrote this. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for potential availability, though official import channels are not confirmed. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch if it does materialise.

No Indian stores have listed this set yet, and with a September 2026 release date, it's likely we'll see a significant wait for official Indian availability, if it arrives at all through standard channels. For now, importing is the only clear path.

IMPORT ONLY

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.

On that bombshell, bubyee.

Correction (3 October 2026): we removed a US price, and any rupee figure worked out from it, because it isn't the Indian price.
