LEGO Pokémon Minifigures, Lord of the Rings, and More Dominate Fan News

Brickset just dropped their weekly news roundup, and it’s a mixed bag of confirmed sets and fan favorites that are getting people talking. If you missed it, the big story is the announcement of LEGO Pokémon sets, and more importantly, the first-ever Pokémon minifigures. We don't have set numbers or pricing for these yet, but the internet is already buzzing louder than a Pikachu.

Beyond Pokémon, the Lord of the Rings theme is clearly still a hit, with a review of the Minas Tirith set (11377) proving incredibly popular. Fans are clearly hungry for more Middle-earth builds, judging by the high view count. It’s a good reminder that sometimes, the older themes are the ones that really capture the imagination.

We also saw news about LEGO Creator 31394 Red Panda, and the Icons 11382 Hubble Space Telescope, which sounds like a display piece for the ages. For those who love their seasonal sets, a spooky new series is kicking off with 11383 Mayor Manor, hinting at more Halloween-themed builds to come.

There was also a reveal for the LEGO Star Wars 75455 Boba Fett, and two new Botanicals sets are on the way, keeping the display shelves stocked for nature lovers. The 40912 Sea Serpent, initially revealed as a gift-with-purchase, also got its own dedicated news piece, suggesting it was a popular item. And for the pop culture fans, LEGO Olivia Rodrigo sets were announced, indicating a move into even more diverse celebrity tie-ins.

The overall article views at Brickset are up this week, which is always a good sign for the LEGO community. It means people are engaged and looking for what’s next. The only question now is when we’ll see official Indian pricing and availability for these exciting new sets. Given the usual import times and potential pricing adjustments, we can expect a bit of a wait.

No official Indian prices or release dates are available for these sets yet. Based on the global announcements and typical import timelines, expect a potential lag of 4–6 weeks for availability in India. This means that while the excitement builds, actual purchase options might be delayed. The sheer variety of themes announced means there’s something for nearly everyone, though the cost will likely be a significant factor. It’s enough to make you want to start saving up for your next big LEGO haul. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for these releases. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

The diversity of these announcements is pretty staggering. From minifigure-scale Pokémon to massive telescopes and beloved fantasy realms, LEGO is covering all the bases. Keep an eye on Bricks of India for when these start hitting local shelves and we can finally talk concrete prices. On that bombshell...
