LEGO Nike Air Force 1 (43026) Announced – Prepare Your Wallets, India

Your wallet just got an alert. LEGO has unveiled the Nike Air Force 1 set, number 43026, and while it’s not exactly a direct hit to your bank account, it’s definitely going to make you pause. This isn't just a shoe; it's a whole display piece.

The set packs 1093 pieces, which is a decent chunk of plastic for the price point. It features a sculpture of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 shoe, perched on a themed display stand. And yes, there’s a spaceman minifigure thrown in for good measure, because apparently, shoes and space are now a thing. The international price is set at US$99.99, which means we’re looking at a significant cost once it lands on Indian shores.

This release follows up on last year’s Nike models, including the Air Max 95, showing LEGO is doubling down on this particular collaboration. The designs have been praised for their aesthetics, even by those who aren't exactly sneakerheads. Some commenters noted the shoe sculpture itself is pretty neat, though the spaceship-like stand has sparked mixed reactions. One user humorously suggested it looks like a spaceship is "farting out the Nike logo." Another pointed out the potential for a cool spaceship alternate build, given the number of radar dishes included.

The inclusion of a spaceman minifigure has also raised eyebrows, with some fans feeling it’s a bit of a stretch to appeal to the Classic Space crowd. However, there’s a subtle nod to that theme with a Nike-ified Classic Space emblem on the base, which some find to be the most interesting detail. Whether this is a creative evolution or a sign that the shoe-themed sets are starting to feel repetitive is up for debate.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely have it available 4–6 weeks after the global launch on September 1st. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

Ultimately, LEGO seems to be leaning into these detailed footwear models. If you’re a fan of Nike, a collector of these shoe sets, or just appreciate a unique display piece with a spaceman, this might be for you. For everyone else, it’s likely another one to watch from a distance.

Verdict: WAIT — check prices at MyBrickHouse and Toycra before pulling the trigger.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
