LEGO Ministry of Magic and Shrek Minifigs Lead This Week's Brickset News

Brickset dropped their weekly news roundup, and it’s a mixed bag of magical buildings and swamp-dwelling ogres. The most-read article by a mile? The reveal of LEGO Harry Potter's 76476 The Ministry of Magic. That’s a big one, folks. Expect plenty of brick-built bureaucracy and probably some very specific magical department sections. No price yet, but this is the kind of set that makes you wonder if your spare room can double as a Hogwarts annex.

Right behind it is the review of the Shrek Collectible Minifigures. Yes, Shrek. In LEGO form. The internet has been buzzing about this one, and for good reason. We’re talking Donkey, Puss in Boots, and probably a very grumpy ogre. The article hints at a strong showing for this series, which is great news for anyone who grew up with fairytale parodies. Pricing is still a bit of a mystery, but these minifig series always land with a thud, so keep your eyes peeled.

Other popular reads this week include a deep dive into Stranger Things: The Creel House, a Spider-Man vs. Hulk set that sounds exactly as chaotic as it should, and the intriguing news that excess stock from the BDP (Builder's Program) Series 6 might be available soon. For the younger builders, there’s a review of the Dump Truck & Front End Loader, and for the Star Wars fans, Boba Fett gets his own spotlight. SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom also made a splash.

There’s also news of Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts promotions on the horizon and an article on decorating your LEGO space, which, let’s be honest, we all need. The overall news views are down slightly from last week, but the Ministry of Magic and Shrek Minifigs are clearly the main attractions this time around.

No official Indian pricing or availability is confirmed for the Ministry of Magic or the Shrek Minifigures yet. Based on typical import markups and the sheer scale of the Ministry set, expect it to be a significant investment. If this were officially sold in India, it would cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix — assuming LEGO India's usual enthusiasm for your wallet. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will be the first places to check once stock arrives, likely 4–6 weeks after global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
