LEGO Kon-Briki Bar MOC: A Tropical Escape for Your Living Room?

Bart Marable, also known as bartsbrickworks, has opened a new LEGO creation that's got my attention: the Kon-Briki bar. It’s a MOC, not an official set, so don't go checking LEGO.com for it. But if you're ever at a convention where Bart’s showing this off, the Brothers Brick highly recommends you swing by for a virtual cocktail.

The MOC looks like a seriously chill spot. Imagine stepping in, avoiding the crowds, and heading straight for the bar. The lighting fixtures are a neat touch, made from transparent LEGO rock elements cleverly placed in nets. And the drink selection? It seems extensive, though the tiki head cups are cleverly represented by stacked rollerskates. That’s the kind of detail that makes you smile.

The real centrepiece, though, is a giant tiki head. It’s positioned in the tallest part of the building, and the article hints its eyes might just follow you. Maybe it’s the lighting, maybe it’s the artistry, or maybe Bart’s bartender made the drink a double by mistake. Either way, it adds a bit of mystery to the tropical vibe.

Once you get to your table, the decor continues to impress. Marable has really scoured the LEGO universe for inspiration. You’ll find newer elements like collectible minifigure headwear sitting alongside classic pirate maps. There's even a repurposed NHL hockey mask thrown in for good measure. The way the lighting is used throughout the MOC really brings the whole scene to life, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

This Kon-Briki bar MOC is a fantastic example of what fans can build. It's detailed, it's got personality, and it transports you to a different place. While we don’t have an official set number or price, the sheer creativity on display is worth appreciating. If you happen to see this build at a convention, definitely take the time to check it out. It sounds like a great escape.

If this MOC were officially released as a set in India, it would likely cost more than a month's worth of biryani deliveries for a family of four. MyBrickHouse and Toycra would be the first places to look for availability, though MOCs like these rarely see official releases. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from any potential global launch. Keep building, keep dreaming... And don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
