LEGO Imperial Trooper Fan Designs: Force Ghosts, Meat Inspectors, and More!

LEGO fans love a good trooper. From the classic Stormtrooper to the more obscure ones, there’s a uniform for every occasion. Now, a fan contest is pushing the boundaries of Imperial fashion, asking builders to dream up some seriously specific trooper variants. The Imperial Design Bureau contest, hosted by the Disturbing the Piece Podcast and Faraway Bricks, is all about creating needlessly specific Imperial roles.

Builder Jack McKeen has thrown his hat into the ring with some truly inspired designs. First up is the Imperial Force Ghost Buster. Apparently, these guys keep Jedi from meddling after death, which sounds like a pretty important job, if you ask me. High job satisfaction scores in the galaxy, too. Then there’s the Imperial Animal Control Trooper. For those moments when your mouse droids are facing actual rodent infestations. The article hints this is a no-kill operation, which is good to know.

But wait, there’s more. Every orbital battle station needs an Imperial Tattoo Artist, because even the dark side appreciates some quality ink. And finally, breaking the contest’s rule of three, McKeen also designed an Imperial Meat Inspector. This trooper ensures only the finest alien proteins make it into those self-warming ration packs. It seems the Animal Control Trooper’s job might not be so no-kill after all. These are fan creations, mind you, not official LEGO sets, so don’t go looking for these specific minifigures on store shelves anytime soon. Still, it’s a fun look at how creative LEGO fans can get with existing themes.

No specific set numbers or prices are available for these fan designs, naturally. If LEGO were to ever officially produce any of these, expect the Indian pricing to be a conversation starter. If this were officially sold in India, it would cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix — assuming LEGO India's usual enthusiasm for your wallet. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for any official LEGO news, though these particular designs are fan-made concepts. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch for any official sets.

It’s a reminder that the LEGO universe is vast, and fan imagination often goes beyond what LEGO itself produces. Keep an eye on contests like these for inspiration.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
