LEGO Ideas Wallace & Gromit (21371) Officially Revealed

The wallet is already crying. LEGO has officially pulled back the curtain on 21371 Wallace & Gromit, a 1,038-piece LEGO Ideas set celebrating Aardman's iconic claymation duo. This isn't just another brick-built figure; it's a faithful recreation of Wallace, Gromit, and their beloved red motorbike, designed to capture that unmistakable stop-motion charm.

This set is the 10th LEGO Ideas release for 2026, and it’s set to land globally on October 1st, 2026. Pre-orders are open now on LEGO.com and at local LEGO Stores. The US price is pegged at US$99.99, which, after conversion and markup, looks like a considerable investment for Indian fans.

The original fan design by Pidelium from the '90s Throwback – The Next Chapter' challenge has been polished and enhanced by the LEGO Ideas team. The resulting model boasts expressive character builds and manages to translate the soft, organic curves of claymation into plastic bricks remarkably well. Gromit, in particular, seems to have stolen the show, with clever use of magnifying glass elements for his goggles and those signature floppy ears. It's a collaboration that feels genuinely right, blending Aardman's artistry with LEGO's versatility.

While the source article praises the set as "phenomenal" and "priced very decently" for international markets, the India price is where things get interesting.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely stock this set 4–6 weeks after the global launch on October 1st, 2026. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

For fans who grew up with Wallace and Gromit, finding high-quality official merchandise can be a challenge. This set promises to be a fantastic addition for collectors, capturing a beloved piece of animation history. However, given the estimated price point for India, it’s probably wise to wait for a potential deal or a price drop before diving in.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

Updated 1 Oct 2026: estimated price removed; official Indian pricing not yet announced.
