LEGO Ideas 21370 E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial: Price in India

Your wallet just got a call from the 80s. LEGO Ideas has dropped an E.T. set that will make your bank balance feel like it’s stuck in a phone booth.

The official reveal lists 1,226 pieces, an 18+ age rating, and a US retail price of US$139.99. No Indian store has posted a price yet, so the set is effectively a grey‑market candidate for now.

The set promises a poseable E.T. figure with a glowing heart, a 360‑degree head, and the iconic finger‑pointing “phone home” gesture. LEGO’s press release teases the alien holding a pot of LEGO flowers, a nod to that bittersweet scene where E.T. revives the dead plant. The design originated from a fan project on Lafabrick and survived the usual Ideas voting marathon, so you can expect the usual attention to detail that the community rewards.

What’s notable beyond nostalgia is the build experience. With over a thousand pieces, the set offers a solid brick‑building session for both newcomers and seasoned builders. The poseable limbs and lighting element add a tactile dimension that many adult‑oriented Ideas sets lack.

Community reaction has been mixed. Some fans love the faithful recreation of E.T.’s expression and the inclusion of the flower pot, while others question the practicality of the design and the price tag. The set’s release date is slated for 1 August on LEGO.com, which means Indian fans will likely see a 4–6 week lag before any official stock appears, if at all.

Check MyBrickHouse for availability. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch. That's about 14 months of Netflix Premium.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
