LEGO Icons Unleashes Jaguar E-Type and Mayor Manor in August/September

LEGO has officially unveiled two new additions to the Icons lineup, and your bank account is already bracing itself. First up, the 11381 Jaguar E-Type arrives on August 1st, promising a dose of British automotive elegance. Following that, just in time for spooky season, the 11383 Mayor Manor haunts shelves from September 1st. These aren't small impulse buys, so start mentally rearranging shelf space and budget accordingly.

The Jaguar E-Type, a car that practically defined cool in its era, looks set to be a stunner. With 1,673 pieces, it boasts that iconic silhouette and a deep British Racing Green finish. Jay's Brick Blog highlights some new elements, including updated wheelbases, a windscreen, and wheel arches, all designed to capture the car's legendary curves. A particularly neat detail for some fans is the inclusion of the dark tan plume accessory, a piece previously rare and expensive on the secondary market. This is a thoughtful touch, making the set appealing beyond just car collectors.

Then there's the Mayor Manor. While details are lighter, the implication is a return to the popular LEGO Haunted House theme, perfect for Halloween fans. Coming in at 1,420 pieces, it suggests a substantial build, likely with intricate details and spooky minifigures. The timing for a September release is spot on for those who love to decorate for the holidays.

Both sets are available for pre-order now on LEGO.com. The Jaguar E-Type is priced at $139.99 USD, and the Mayor Manor at $119.99 USD.

Based on the US retail prices, the Jaguar E-Type is estimated to cost ₹18,200 and the Mayor Manor ₹15,600 when they eventually land in India. That's roughly the price of a decent air fryer or 18 months of Spotify Premium. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for availability. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from the global launch dates.

While official Indian pricing and release dates are yet to be confirmed, the August and September global launch windows give us a good idea of when to expect them. Given the premium nature of the Icons line and the specific themes, these sets are likely to be priced at the higher end when they do arrive. It might be worth waiting for potential deals or bundles, especially if you’re eyeing both.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
