LEGO Icons Jaguar E-Type (11381) Officially Revealed

Your wallet called. It wants to discuss the LEGO Icons Jaguar E-Type (11381). This 1,673-piece beast is aimed squarely at adult builders, and judging by the official images, it’s a looker. Forget the usual grey or red sports cars; this one rocks a classic dark green finish, which is a welcome change of pace.

The press release drops some serious detail. We're talking a faithfully recreated 77 RW E-Type, complete with a liftable bonnet revealing the inline-6 engine. You can pop the doors open, fold back the textile roof, and peek at a detailed dashboard. Even the steering wheel apparently works. And get this: a five-piece toolkit fits in the boot, which opens with a button push. It sounds like LEGO has packed this one with features.

The set number is 11381, and it's slated for a global release on August 1st. The US price is set at US$139.99, with similar pricing in the UK and Europe. This puts it below the typical US$0.10 per piece threshold, which is a pleasant surprise for an Icons car. Many fans online are praising the price point and the colour choice, noting it's been a while since we’ve seen dark green on a Creator Expert/Icons vehicle. Some commenters are already debating the colour matching on the green bricks and the design of the headlights, but the overall sentiment seems positive.

It’s now sold in India; today’s price is on its set page. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely stock this 4–6 weeks after the global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

While the Jaguar E-Type looks like a solid build and a great display piece, the estimated Indian price is a bit steep. It’s not quite reaching the heights of some other Icons cars, but it’s still a premium product. For now, waiting for a potential discount or a better price point seems like the sensible move before diving in.

Keep building, keep dreaming... And don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

On that bombshell, bubyee.

Correction (3 October 2026): we removed a US price, and any rupee figure worked out from it, because it isn't the Indian price.
