LEGO Icons Bookshop: Book Nook (11379) Announced, Will it Make it to India?

LEGO’s book nook collection keeps growing, and the latest addition is a meta one: a book nook of bookshelves. This new LEGO Icons set, revealed ahead of an October 1 release, takes the concept of a miniature scene nestled between your novels and turns it into a charming bookshop itself. The set, internally designated 11379, is called the Bookshop: Book Nook and boasts 1,690 pieces.

The idea is to place this between your existing books, creating a little window into the "Brickville Books" shop. Open it up, and you get a two-storey interior complete with balconies and a spiral staircase. LEGO is promising plenty of detail for bookworms and writers alike, including an author's workspace, reading nooks, and subtle literary nods like a golden cup, magnifying glass, and a black cat statue. It also comes with author and reader minifigures to add a bit of storytelling. It sounds like a perfect display piece for anyone who loves both LEGO and getting lost in a good story.

The US price is set at $149.99, with Canada at $209.99 and the UK at £119.99. This price point puts it firmly in the premium display set category.

No official Indian pricing or release date has been announced yet. Based on the US retail price and current exchange rates, expect this to land somewhere around ₹15,000–18,000 when it eventually arrives.
