LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2026: Ministry of Magic GWP and Offers Revealed! (Set 2026)

Your wallet is bracing for impact. LEGO has officially dropped the details for their Back to Hogwarts 2026 event, and it’s a Potterhead’s dream – or a finance department’s nightmare. The festivities kick off on August 29th and run through September 6th, packed with promotions and a major new exclusive.

The star of the show is undoubtedly 76476 Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition. This isn't just another Hogwarts expansion; it’s a premium set designed for the serious collector. Alongside it, a smaller 40975 Mini Hogwarts Castle is also on the horizon. But the real draw for many will be the Gift With Purchase (GWP) items.

First up, spend US$130 (or equivalent) on Harry Potter sets and snag the 40901 Ministry Munchies & The Daily Prophet Stands GWP. This offer runs for the entire event duration, while stocks last. Then there’s the 5011072 Ministry of Magic Phone Booth GWP. This one is a bit more exclusive, as it’s only free with the purchase of the massive 76476 Ministry of Magic set itself. For LEGO Insiders, there’s also a 25th Anniversary Bauble up for grabs, redeemable for 1,700 Insiders points, starting August 29th.

The main event, 76476 Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition, carries a hefty US$449.99 price tag. That’s a significant investment, even before considering potential Indian pricing and import duties. The smaller 40975 Mini Hogwarts Castle is more accessible at US$39.99, offering a smaller taste of the magic.

The 76476 Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition is now sold in India; today’s price is on its set page. Official Indian pricing and availability through Toycra and MyBrickHouse are not yet confirmed, but expect a 4–6 week lag from the global launch date of August 29th. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

Given the high price point of the main set and the GWP requirements, this event is clearly aimed at the most dedicated Harry Potter fans. While the GWPs are attractive, the cost of entry for the premium set is substantial. It might be wise to wait and see if any special Indian pricing or bundles emerge, or if the price drops slightly after the initial hype.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

Correction (3 October 2026): we removed a US price, and any rupee figure worked out from it, because it isn't the Indian price.
