LEGO Halloween 2026 Sets Unveiled for August Launch

LEGO is dropping some spooky new additions for Halloween 2026, and they’re set to land on August 1st. If you’re a fan of seasonal builds, get ready to add these to your collection. These aren't your usual wide-release sets; the yellow stripe on the box usually means they’re exclusive to LEGO Stores and LEGO.com. So, mark your calendars for August 1st if you want to snag them directly.

First up is a new take on the LEGO Halloween Pumpkin, set number 40872. While LEGO Pumpkins have been popular before, this 2026 version comes with a neat trick: a Glow in the Dark Ghost minifigure. It’s a fresh spin on a familiar design, and the added minifigure should make it a hit for those who love a little extra detail in their seasonal displays.

Then there's the 40883 Halloween Skull Candle. This one looks like a solid decorative piece, perfect for adding some eerie flair to your home. The best part? It’s got glow-in-the-dark eyes, making it extra spooky when the lights go down. Who wouldn't want a LEGO skull candle to get into the Halloween spirit?

The third set, 40873 Colorful Lantern, is particularly interesting. While not strictly a Halloween theme, it appears to be inspired by the lanterns used during Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. This is a significant move, potentially marking the first Diwali-inspired LEGO model. It’s great to see LEGO acknowledging and celebrating different cultural festivals through its builds, broadening the appeal beyond traditional Western holidays.

The pricing for these sets is as follows: the 40883 Halloween Skull Candle and 40873 Colorful Lantern will retail for US$19.99 each, while the 40872 Halloween Pumpkin Lantern is priced at US$29.99.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely be your best bet for these, though expect them to appear 4–6 weeks after the global August 1st launch. Check Toycra for availability. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

These sets are launching on August 1st, 2026. Given they are likely store exclusives and the current price point, it’s probably wise to wait for them to appear in Indian stores rather than considering import options immediately. Keep an eye on local retailers for their availability and pricing.

Verdict: WAIT — check prices at MyBrickHouse and Toycra before pulling the trigger.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
