LEGO Gondor Under Siege: Minas Tirith Castle Build Evokes Middle-earth Battles

The shining city of Minas Tirith has finally made its LEGO debut, capturing the majesty of Gondor in its prime. Benjamin Hagger, a new face on LEGO Flickr, recreates the sacrifice of the last Gondorian holdouts defending Osgiliath. The build does an admirable job capturing the cracked and crumbling city walls. A fireball caught mid-impact on the domed tower adds to the immediacy of the orc threat.

Another recent build from French builder Guillaume, a white tower, isn't explicitly called out as Gondor, but it certainly evokes the region. The castle builder has built Osgiliath in the past. This monochrome build is striking, especially with the soaring dragon, which some fans speculate could be an albino fell beast. These fan creations highlight the enduring appeal of Middle-earth for LEGO builders.

No official LEGO set number or product details have been announced or leaked for these builds. They appear to be original creations by talented LEGO artists. This means no official release date, no confirmed piece count, and definitely no immediate availability in Indian stores. It's the usual situation with these incredible fan builds: you admire them online, wish they were real sets, and then accept they probably won't be.

If these builds were officially released as sets, expect them to land with a considerable price tag, likely in the ₹15,000–20,000 range, given the scale and detail shown. That's enough for about 15 large pizzas or a month's worth of decent biryani for a family. MyBrickHouse and Toycra would be the first places to look, but expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch if they ever materialize. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

While these aren't official products, they showcase the incredible creativity within the LEGO community. They serve as inspiration for what could be, even if LEGO itself hasn't officially ventured into this specific corner of Middle-earth with a Minas Tirith set. Keep an eye on fan platforms for more incredible MOCs (My Own Creations) inspired by beloved fantasy worlds.
