LEGO Gifts With Purchase Arrive: Pokémon, Sonic, and More!

New freebies are dropping from LEGO.com, and this time they’re spread across a wild mix of themes. If you’ve been eyeing sets from Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog, or even The Legend of Zelda, now might be your chance to snag a bonus polybag. But don’t get too excited just yet – these offers have specific dates and minimum purchase requirements.

First up, the 30730 Trainer Supplies pack is free with any purchase of £35 / US$40 / €40 or more, but only if you’re buying from the Pokémon, City, Creator, Friends, DREAMZzz, or NINJAGO lines. That’s a pretty eclectic group. On the other hand, the 30733 Badnik: Skorp polybag, featuring a character from Sonic the Hedgehog, has similar spending requirements but is tied to Animal Crossing, Sonic, Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Fortnite, and Minecraft sets. It seems LEGO is trying to cover all bases with these GWP campaigns.

In Australia and New Zealand, there’s an additional offer: 30713 Fancy Restaurant with Bingo is available with qualifying City and Bluey purchases. Keep an eye on those dates, though. In the US and Canada, these promotions run until August 24th. Everywhere else, you have until August 28th, or while supplies last. Remember, these are gifts, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.

But wait, there’s more. Some previous offers are making a comeback. North America gets another shot at the 40894 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Steering Wheel with the purchase of the 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar until August 28th. Europe can grab the 5009005 Entrance Gate with the 21353 The Botanical Garden until September 30th. Australia and New Zealand also see the return of 40893 The Lord of the Rings: Grond with the purchase of 11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith, also until August 28th. It’s a bit unusual to see GWP offers return, suggesting maybe LEGO overproduced these or is trying to boost sales on specific sets.

No specific Indian pricing or availability for these GWPs has been confirmed yet, but based on international thresholds, expect to spend around ₹3,500–₹4,000 to qualify for the smaller polybags. That’s enough for a decent weekend biryani spread for the family. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will be the stores to watch for any official local promotions. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Given the current exchange rates and the typical GWP threshold, you’re likely looking at a minimum spend of around ₹3,500 to ₹4,000 to snag these freebies in India, assuming they even make it here officially. This is a good time to check if any of the qualifying sets are already on your wishlist, or if you can combine purchases. Otherwise, you might find these polybags available for a few dollars/euros on the secondary market once the promotion ends. It’s always a gamble with GWPs.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
