LEGO Frog MOC Hints at New Build Possibilities

Your wallet can relax for now. No new LEGO set announcement is causing panic today, just a particularly well-built frog. Maxx Davidson, a builder known for pushing creative boundaries, has shared an "Extremely Accurate Frog" MOC (My Own Creation) that’s turning heads. This isn’t an official LEGO release, but it’s a reminder of what’s possible when builders get creative.

The MOC, inspired by artist Tommy Siegel, focuses on realism. Davidson’s frog isn’t just a few bricks stacked together; it’s detailed, capturing the musculature and proportions you’d expect from, well, an extremely accurate frog. The Brothers Brick featured the build, highlighting its impressive construction. While it might live in the same "dark corner" as some of Davidson's more unusual creations, this frog is undeniably well-executed.

This MOC serves as a fun look at what LEGO builders can achieve. It’s proof of the versatility of the brick, showing that even something as specific as a hyper-realistic frog can be brought to life. While we don't have a set number or official release details for this particular build, it’s a great example of fan-driven innovation. It makes you wonder what other animal MOCs might be out there, waiting to be discovered.

While this is a fan creation and not an official set, if something similar were to be released by LEGO India, expect to pay upwards of ₹4,000. That's enough for about 20kg of good quality potatoes. MyBrickHouse and Toycra would likely stock it 4–6 weeks after any global launch, but for now, it’s only available through independent builders. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

It’s a good reminder that the LEGO community is constantly innovating. Keep an eye out for more MOCs – you never know what you might find.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.
