LEGO FIFA World Cup Trophy - Champions Edition Revealed for Spain

Your wallet is probably already bracing itself. LEGO has unveiled a new FIFA World Cup Official Trophy set, but before you get too excited, this one is exclusively for Spain. Yes, after Spain clinched the 2026 FIFA World Cup, LEGO dropped the 4000351 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy - Champions Edition. This isn't an entirely new creation; it's a tweaked version of a March release, with subtle changes to the secret compartment scene, a new printed plate, and, rather controversially, the minifigure has been removed.

The set packs 2845 pieces, just three more than its predecessor, and carries a price tag of €199.99. It’s slated for an October 1st release, with pre-orders open now. The quick turnaround from the World Cup final to this reveal has raised a few eyebrows, with some fans questioning why it's not available until October, missing the immediate post-victory buzz. The decision to make this a country-exclusive release also isn't sitting well with many, given the global nature of the event. The idea of regional exclusives for such a massive, worldwide tournament feels a bit dated, especially when compared to the potential for online exclusives or wider availability.

This move also has some LEGO fans grumbling about perceived downgrades, particularly the removal of the minifigure in favour of a printed tile. While the aesthetics of the trophy itself are subjective, the exclusivity and the removal of a key component have certainly sparked debate. It’s a collector’s item, sure, but its limited availability means most of us outside Spain will be looking at grey market imports or hoping for a lucky break. The original trophy, which we haven't seen an Indian price for yet, was already a significant investment. This 'Champions Edition' will likely follow suit, with import costs pushing it even higher for those who manage to acquire it.

No official Indian price or availability has been announced for the LEGO FIFA World Cup Trophy - Champions Edition. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will be the stores to watch for potential import stock, though availability is uncertain due to the exclusive nature of this release. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch if it does appear.

The move to country-specific releases for such a globally followed event is a curious one, and it's likely to leave many fans disappointed. For those in Spain, it's a chance to celebrate their victory with a massive brick build. For the rest of us, it’s another example of LEGO’s sometimes baffling distribution strategies.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.

Updated 1 Oct 2026: estimated price removed; official Indian pricing not yet announced.
