LEGO Duplo Liminal Pool Build: Chill Vibes, No Actual Set Number

Your wallet can breathe easy for now. LEGO has not announced a new set that will drain your savings, but a fan build is making the rounds, and it’s… different. Brothers Brick featured a creation by Pan Noda that’s being called a "liminal LEGO pool." Yes, you read that right. Forget the latest UCS Millennium Falcon or that massive new Technic supercar. This is about relaxation, apparently.

Pan Noda has apparently pivoted from playground design to waterpark architecture, using vintage Duplo pieces for a waterslide. The previous playground build apparently had some safety concerns, according to Brothers Brick's Norm. This time, the waterslide gracefully ends in a pool, not some endless void. It’s described as having a "glassy pool of water" and aims for a vibe of peaceful silence. The creator uses vintage Duplo bricks, which gives it a certain retro, slightly uncanny charm. It’s the kind of build that makes you pause and think, "Is this meant to be relaxing or slightly unsettling?"

The "liminal" aspect often refers to transitional or in-between spaces that evoke a sense of unease or nostalgia. Think empty shopping malls or deserted hallways. Applying that to a LEGO pool build is certainly a unique artistic choice. While there's no official set number or retail price to worry about, the build showcases how creative one can get with older brick collections. It’s a reminder that the most interesting creations sometimes come from unexpected places and themes, rather than the latest blockbuster movie tie-in.

No official Indian pricing is available as this is a fan-made creation. If a similar, highly detailed Duplo set were to be released, expect it to cost around ₹10,000–15,000 based on complexity and piece count. That's enough for about 20 large buckets of your favourite street-side pani puri. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will be the first places to check if LEGO ever decides to officially produce something this niche, though a 4–6 week availability lag after a global launch would be standard. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

It’s a build that definitely sparks conversation. Whether it inspires a wave of serene pool dioramas or a wave of concerned questions about the builder's sanity remains to be seen. For now, enjoy the bizarrely chill vibes.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
