LEGO Contest Round-Up for May 2026 (2026)

May is here, and so are the LEGO contests. Your wallet can breathe a sigh of relief; this isn't about buying. It's about building. And maybe winning. If you've got a MOC itching to get out, this is your chance.

BrickNerd has rounded up the May 2026 contests. We're talking LEGO Ideas, Star Wars, and "all things adorable." The specifics are a bit light in the source material, but the gist is clear: build something, submit it, and potentially score some LEGO prizes. This is the kind of news that makes you dig through your spare bricks.

The real question for us is always about the cost of entry. Usually, it's just your time and bricks. Sometimes, there's a small fee, but mostly, these are about bragging rights and free sets. No mention of any purchase requirement here, which is good news for your savings account.

No Indian store prices are available for contest entry fees, as these are typically participation-based. Based on global contest trends and assuming no entry fee, this is a free way to potentially win LEGO prizes. If any entry fees are introduced, expect them to be nominal, likely under ₹1000. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the places to watch for new set releases and potential contest-related promotions. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

The important thing about LEGO contests is what they actually test. It is not your piece count or your budget. It is your eye. Some of the best contest-winning builds are small, clever, and use twenty parts in a way nobody thought of before. Star Wars dioramas. Microscale cityscapes. Single-minifigure scenes with a punch line in them. India has genuinely talented builders who never enter these because they do not know the contests exist. That is the gap. On that bombshell, bubyee.
