LEGO Bricklink Designer Program Series 9: The Fan Designs You Can Pre-Order Soon

Bricklink has officially pulled back the curtain on Series 9 of their Designer Program. This is your chance to snag some seriously cool, fan-designed sets directly from the source. We are talking five new models, all confirmed with official images, piece counts, and pricing.

The crowdfunding window for these gems opens on October 6th, 2026, and closes on October 12th. Remember, these aren't just regular retail sets. If a model hits 3,000 pre-orders, it's officially a go. There's a two-set limit per household, which should hopefully spread the love around. Production numbers are dynamic, with a cap of 30,000 sets for any given model, but if one set is less popular, the excess production capacity can be shifted to another. Successful pre-orders are expected to start shipping around March 2027.

Let's talk about the models themselves. Leading the pack is the Fisherman's Village, a hefty 4,027-piece build that will set you back US$349.99. Then there's the Sleepy Dragon Inn, with 3,121 pieces for US$269.99. For those who love a Western vibe, the Wild West Blacksmith is coming in at 2,533 pieces for US$219.99, and the Woodbrick Freight Depot also sports 2,252 pieces for the same price. Rounding out the collection is the charming Pumpkin Patch, a much smaller affair with 614 pieces for a very accessible US$49.99.

Now, for the crucial part: what does this mean for us in India? With no official Indian retail prices yet, and given these are Bricklink exclusive releases, expect them to be import-only for the foreseeable future. The US prices give us a ballpark, but actual landed costs will likely be higher due to customs duties and shipping.

If these were to land officially in India, the Fisherman's Village alone would cost roughly the same as six months of Netflix Premium.
