LEGO Batman Returns Batmobile (76355) Revealed: A Burton Classic Reborn

Your wallet called. It wants to discuss the new LEGO Batman Returns Batmobile. This 2,269-piece beast, set number 76355, is a deep dive into Tim Burton's 1992 classic. It's not just a model; it's a display piece that captures one of the most iconic Batmobile designs ever.

This isn't some flimsy toy. The detail looks incredible, and the ability to split open and launch a Batmissile? That's pure movie magic translated into plastic. And the new Batman cowl, draping over the minifigure? That's a game-changer for how LEGO handles capes. It’s genuinely innovative.

LEGO is dropping this on September 1st, 2026, for Insiders, with a wider release on September 4th. It’s exclusive to LEGO.com and official LEGO Stores. So, no hunting around third-party sellers for this one.

Now, the price. It's US$229.99. That's a lot of cash for one Batmobile, even a legendary one. While the build and the movie nostalgia are strong, the inclusion of only one minifigure – Batman, naturally – feels like a missed opportunity. Where are Penguin and Catwoman? Getting them in minifigure form from this movie is incredibly rare, and this was the perfect chance. Missing out on them in the 76252 Batcave Shadow Box set makes their absence here even more painful.

This set will likely land in India around ₹24,500. That’s the price of 10 months of Spotify Premium Family Plan. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will be the places to watch, but expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

If you're a die-hard Tim Burton Batman fan and already own the 1989 Batmobile and Batwing, this is probably a no-brainer. But for the rest of us, the steep price and the stingy minifigure count mean it’s probably wise to wait for a sale.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely stock it 4–6 weeks after global launch. Keep building, keep dreaming... And don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

On that bombshell, bubyee.

Updated 1 Oct 2026: estimated price removed; official Indian pricing not yet announced.
