LEGO August 2026 Launches: X-Files, Donkey Kong, and More Arrive! (Set 2026)

The first of August 2026 is here, and LEGO has unleashed a tidal wave of 66 new sets. This is typically a massive launch month, and true to form, there's something for every brick builder. Forget checking your bank account for a second; let's dive into what's new.

Among the most anticipated arrivals are the Donkey Kong Arcade (72051), the iconic Tower Bridge (21067), and Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss (31221) as part of the LEGO Insiders collection. The LEGO Ideas theme also gets a significant boost with the much-hyped X-Files set (21369), E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (21370), and La Catrina (21372).

This year also marks the official debut of the Pokémon Smart Play! LEGO Editions. Four sets are launching based on the pop icon Olivia Rodrigo, including 11507 Olivia Rodrigo’s Flower Bouquet, which cleverly bridges the LEGO Botanicals theme. Speaking of Botanicals, fans can also snag the new 11512 Hanging Golden Pothos and 11513 Dark Flower Arrangement.

Exclusive to the X-Files set (21369) is a special gift with purchase: 40896 Scully’s Lab, available for orders placed between August 1st and 10th, while supplies last.
