LEGO 910071 Wild West Blacksmith: BrickLink Designer Program Returns

BrickLink Designer Program Series 9 is here, and with it comes the Wild West Blacksmith. This is not a new announcement, just a reminder that pre-orders are now live for this massive 2533-piece set. It’s a sprawling build, promising a detailed Western town scene.

The catalogue number is 910071, and it's slated for a 2027 release. We're talking about a significant piece count here, enough to fill a good chunk of shelf space. The sheer scale suggests a complex, rewarding build for those who appreciate large-scale dioramas. This isn't your average small set; it's an event build.

Details are scarce beyond the piece count and the theme. We don't know anything about the minifigures included, if any, or specific building techniques that will be employed. However, the "Wild West" theme generally implies a certain aesthetic: weathered wood, dusty streets, and perhaps some classic Western characters. Given the size, it's likely to be a display piece rather than a play-focused set.

This set is part of the BrickLink Designer Program, which means its availability is limited to pre-orders through BrickLink itself. These sets often have a unique manufacturing process and are produced in limited quantities. Once the pre-order window closes, that's usually it. There's no guarantee of retail availability through standard channels later on.

Official Indian pricing hasn't been announced yet. LEGO.in and Toycra are the stores to watch for any potential availability, though BrickLink Designer Program sets are typically not stocked by official retailers. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. If this were officially sold in India, it would cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix Premium.

Given its nature as a BrickLink Designer Program exclusive, expect this to be an import-only item for most Indian fans. The process usually involves ordering directly from BrickLink, with shipping costs and potential customs duties adding significantly to the final price. Patience is key, as these orders can take a long time to arrive after the pre-order period ends. For collectors who missed out on previous BrickLink series, this is a chance to secure another large, fan-designed model. It’s a definite buy for fans of the theme and the Designer Program, but be prepared for the import hassle.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
