Jay’s Brick Blog has rolled out the 42240 Aston Martin Aramco AMR25, the latest addition to LEGO’s 1:8 Technic Formula 1 series. It captures the 2025 challenger that ended the season in seventh place, and it arrives alongside the McLaren MCL39 that debuted earlier this year. The model is built from 1,547 bricks, complete with a detailed cockpit, front wing, and a rear wing that looks oddly familiar if you squint at the colour.

The set isn’t just about looks; the engineering is solid. The rear axle is functional, the steering works, and you can flip the car to reveal the gearbox. Unfortunately, the back tyres suffer from the same inaccuracy that plagued the McLaren version – they’re a little too wide and not true to the real‑world spec.
