LEGO 40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece GWP Coming August 2026

Your wallet called. It wants to discuss the upcoming LEGO 40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece GWP. It's a freebie, sure, but only if you spend enough to make your bank account weep. The GWP requirement is set at a hefty US$180 / £160 / €180. That's a lot of bricks for a free gift.

This Greek taverna GWP is the third in a quarterly series celebrating global cuisine. It's a charming little build, apparently inspired by coastal towns like Santorini and Mykonos. We're talking whitewashed walls, a splash of blue on the sign, and even a tiny kitchen area. For the music lovers, there’s a lute element representing a bouzouki. And because no Greek scene is complete without them, a kitten is included. You also get an exclusive minifigure sporting a traditional Greek tunic. It’s a nice touch, adding to the authenticity of the miniature Mediterranean dining experience.

The series has already taken us to Mexico and Japan. With Greece now confirmed, the speculation for the fourth and final GWP is already running wild. Will it be an Italian trattoria? A French bistro? A North American diner? LEGO's keeping us guessing, but the possibilities are endless, and frankly, a little delicious. Anyone who has visited Greece will surely appreciate the nod to the ubiquitous family-run tavernas and the roaming cats that are a staple of the landscape. This GWP aims to capture that essence.

The promotion runs from 11-20 August 2026. It’s a limited-time offer, so if you’re planning to pick up any of the new August 2026 releases, this might be the perfect opportunity to snag a bonus set. Just remember the minimum spend to qualify. It’s all about that strategic shopping.

MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely have it available 4–6 weeks after the global launch, but you'll need to hit that minimum spend threshold. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

This GWP is a nice addition for collectors of the series and those who appreciate detailed miniature builds. The execution looks solid, and the theme is undeniably appealing. Just be mindful of the spend requirement; it’s not a cheap add-on.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

Updated 1 Oct 2026: estimated price removed; official Indian pricing not yet announced.
