LEGO 21369 The X-Files and 40896 Scully's Lab GWP Officially Revealed!

The truth is out there, and so is a new LEGO set that’s going to make a lot of 90s kids feel very old. LEGO 21369 The X-Files, based on the iconic sci-fi series, has been officially revealed. Forget what you think you know, because this isn't just another piece of plastic; it's a portal back to Mulder and Scully’s world.

This Ideas set packs 1,478 pieces, letting you recreate the paranormal investigations we all spent hours glued to. You get Agent Mulder and Agent Scully minifigures, ready to uncover the truth. The build features a forest clearing scene, complete with the iconic UFO and a buried alien. There’s also a desk area, presumably for some intense late-night debriefings or perhaps just admiring the build. The inclusion of the x-ray details and the classic UFO is a nice touch for fans.

Alongside the main set, there’s also a Gift With Purchase (GWP) set: 40896 Scully’s Lab. This smaller build seems to focus on Scully’s workspace, offering another dose of X-Files flavour. Details on how to get this GWP are still a bit murky, as is typical for these bonus sets. Availability will likely depend on a minimum purchase threshold or a specific launch window.

The X-Files was more than just a TV show; it was a cultural phenomenon that sparked countless theories and late-night discussions about aliens, government conspiracies, and the nature of reality itself. Bringing this to LEGO form is a bold move, and the piece count suggests a substantial model. Whether it lives up to the legendary status of the show remains to be seen, but the initial reveal looks promising for those who believed.

The estimated import price for LEGO 21369 The X-Files is ₹19,500. That’s roughly the cost of a new mid-range smartphone or six months of unlimited cloud storage. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will likely stock this 4–6 weeks after the global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

The official release date is set for August 1st. While the price point might seem steep, the nostalgia factor and the sheer number of pieces could justify it for dedicated fans. Keep an eye on official LEGO channels and major retailers for confirmed Indian pricing and availability.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
