Forced Perspective TMNT Scene: Cowabunga or Collector's Nightmare?

Your wallet is probably fine. For now. LEGO hasn't announced any specific set number for this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scene, so we're not dealing with official prices or availability just yet. This is more of a fan creation, a brilliant piece of forced perspective art by artist_davs that’s getting some buzz. It’s a scene that leans heavily into the darker, grittier origins of the TMNT, far from the Saturday morning cartoons. Think less pizza parties, more brooding vigilantes.

The build itself uses a cool forced perspective trick, creating a city backdrop that’s almost entirely in dark greys and blues. It’s like a Gotham City for reptiles. The focus is sharp, landing squarely on Leonardo, who is the only splash of colour in the whole composition. And yes, there’s a pizza flyer. Because even in the darkest timelines, the turtles need their pepperoni. It’s a clever way to capture the original Mirage comic vibe.

This kind of build highlights what’s possible when fans get creative. It’s the kind of thing that makes you wish LEGO would release more sets based on the original comics, rather than just the cartoon versions. But with no set number, no official release, and no concrete price, it’s impossible to say if this will ever be something you can actually buy. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the coolest builds are just that – builds. They exist to inspire, not necessarily to be added to your ever-growing collection.

If this were officially released as a set, we’d be looking at a price point that would make your average Indian LEGO fan sweat. MyBrickHouse and Toycra will be the first places to check for availability, but anticipate a 4–6 week lag from any potential global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

For now, we can only admire the artistry. It’s a good reminder that the LEGO community is full of talented builders creating incredible things. Whether this particular piece ever becomes a retail product is up in the air. It’s a shame because it looks like a fantastic display piece. But hey, at least we know the turtles are still out there, fighting crime and craving pizza.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
