DIY LEGO Builder's Studio: Instructions Available Now

This is for the builders. The ones who have too many loose bricks and not enough organised space. BrickNerd has dropped instructions for a LEGO Builder's Studio, and it looks like a dream setup. Think organised drawers, display shelves, and even a little build table. It is packed with details that will make any AFOL nod in approval.

The best part? You can build it yourself. Instructions are available directly from BrickNerd. They have also partnered with BrickJournal for their latest issue, so you can get it in print too. This is not a direct LEGO set purchase, so your wallet is safe for now. But the temptation to go brick hunting will be real.

This is a custom build, not an official LEGO set. That means no official price point, and no official availability through standard retailers. You will need to source your own bricks. This can be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, you can use pieces you already own. On the other, you might end up buying more bricks than the studio is worth.

No official Indian store prices are available for this custom build, as it's not a LEGO set. You will need to source the bricks yourself. Depending on the pieces you already have and the ones you need to buy, the cost can vary wildly. For a rough estimate, consider the price of individual bricks on BrickLink or through LEGO's Pick a Brick service. It could range from a few thousand rupees for a basic build to over ₹15,000 if you need to acquire most parts. MyBrickHouse and Toycra do not sell instructions for custom builds, but they are your go-to for sourcing the actual LEGO bricks you will need. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

This is a project for dedicated builders. If you have a significant collection or enjoy the hunt for specific parts, this could be a fun way to create your ultimate building space. If you were hoping for a pre-packaged LEGO solution, this is not it.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
