Build Your Own M:Tron Mobile Moon Base For Free (No Set Number)

Remember the M:Tron theme? Those black, red, and trans-red spaceships with magnetic accessories? LEGO only put out nine sets back in the day, but for those of us who grew up with them, the universe of possibilities felt endless. Now, a fan designer has shared free instructions for a M:Tron Mobile Moon Base, and your inner ’90s kid is probably doing a little happy dance.

This isn't an official LEGO set, so there's no price tag to make your wallet weep. Instead, it's a MOC (My Own Creation) by Thomus Bean. He’s taken the Arctic Explorer Science Lab set and given it a full M:Tron makeover. Think classic M:Tron colours, those iconic magnetic elements, and some serious-looking rugged tires for moon exploration. It’s a cool remix, and the best part is, you can download the instructions for free and build it yourself. Bean has a history of creating awesome retro M:Tron MOCs, and this asymmetrical carrier is a standout.

Since this is a fan-made MOC and not an official LEGO set, there are no Indian store prices available. You'll need to source the parts yourself. If you decide to build this, expect to spend time hunting down the necessary bricks. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are your go-to spots for general LEGO parts. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. The cost will entirely depend on what parts you already own and how you source the rest. It could range from a few thousand rupees to over ten thousand, depending on your luck.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
