Black Falcons Friday: Is This a New LEGO Set or Just a Fan Celebration?

Black Falcons Friday. Sounds like a sale, doesn't it? Your wallet might have already braced itself for impact. But before you start clearing space on your shelves or checking your credit card limits, let's clarify. This isn't a new official LEGO release with a price tag designed to test your financial resilience. This is a fan-driven celebration, a nod to the beloved Black Falcons knights that many of us grew up with.

Thomas, also known as The Brick Dwarf, is spearheading this event, encouraging builders to showcase their Black Falcons inspired creations. Think custom castles, knightly dioramas, and maybe even a few dragon battles. It's a reminder of the nostalgia that LEGO taps into. Remember those classic castle sets? The distinct blue and black colour scheme of the Black Falcons is iconic. This Friday is all about bringing those memories back to life through MOCs (My Own Creations).

While there's no specific set number to hunt down or a direct price to lament, this celebration does highlight the enduring appeal of retro LEGO themes. Many fans would likely jump at the chance to get new, official Black Falcons sets. Imagine a modern take on a castle with updated minifigures and more intricate building techniques. That's a conversation starter, and potentially a wallet emptier.

The lack of an official set means we're in that slightly frustrating but also exciting space of pure fan creativity. It’s an opportunity to dig out old bricks, get inspired by fellow builders, and maybe even start planning your own Black Falcons MOC. It’s a good reminder that sometimes the most engaging LEGO experiences don't come with a retail price. They come from community and imagination.

There are no official Indian store prices for any Black Falcons themed sets, as this is a fan celebration and not a new product launch. If LEGO were to release new sets inspired by the classic Black Falcons, based on current trends, you could expect them to land in India at prices that would require careful budgeting. This would likely cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix — assuming LEGO India's usual enthusiasm for your wallet. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for any potential future releases, and remember to code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch for any new official sets.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
