LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger (10352) — A Deliciously Expensive Slice of Springfield?

Your wallet is already bracing for impact. LEGO has finally brought The Simpsons: Krusty Burger (10352) to India, and it’s landed with a rather hefty price tag of ₹20,999. That's a lot of rupees for a fast-food joint, even one from Springfield.

This set is massive, measuring nearly 20 inches long. It’s designed to replicate the iconic Krusty Burger restaurant, complete with all the cheesy, greasy glory you’d expect. The build details are where this set shines. We’re talking about the classic Krusty Burger sign, the kitchen area with its questionable equipment, the serving counter, and even a drive-thru window. It’s packed with little nods to the show that Simpsons fans will absolutely adore. You get seven minifigures too, including Krusty himself, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, a special Apu Nanthananadian, groundskeeper Willie, Sideshow Mel, and the resident clown's nemesis, the Hamburglar.

The build experience is reportedly quite engaging. The 1635 pieces offer a satisfying construction process, with plenty of smaller details and techniques that keep things interesting. It’s not just a boxy building; there are clever ways the designers have incorporated features like the rotating sign and interior elements. The dimensions are impressive, making it a significant display piece. However, the sheer size also means it will command a substantial amount of shelf space, something many of us are already struggling with.

The real sticking point, as always with LEGO Icons sets, is the price. ₹20,999 is a considerable investment. While the piece count is decent and the minifigure selection is strong, the per-piece cost still feels a bit high. The MRP is listed as ₹20,999, but LEGO.in is selling it at that exact price, meaning no immediate discount is available from the official channel. Compared to other large display-style sets, the Krusty Burger is on the pricier side. It’s a set that requires a serious commitment from your LEGO budget.

Is it worth it? For the die-hard Simpsons fan, the answer might be yes, purely for the display value and the minifigures. The nostalgia factor is immense. But for the average LEGO builder, the price point makes it a tough pill to swallow. It’s a fantastic-looking set, no doubt, and the build seems solid, but you have to really, really love The Simpsons to justify this expenditure.

At review, it was priced at ₹20,999 on LEGO.in. Verdict: WAIT.

Standard disclaimer: rich readers can skip the verdict and just buy it. We'll be over here checking if LEGO.in's HDFC EMI discount makes this hurt less.

The inclusion of the Hamburglar and Sideshow Mel alongside the core Krusty Burger staff is a nice touch, adding more recognisable characters. The detail in the kitchen, with its implied chaos and questionable hygiene standards, is classic Simpsons humour translated into plastic. If you’ve ever dreamed of owning your own slice of Springfield, this set comes incredibly close. The build quality is what you’d expect from LEGO, solid and well-engineered.

However, the value proposition is shaky. While the set is large and detailed, the price feels disproportionate when you consider the piece count relative to other sets in this price bracket. It's a premium product for a premium theme, and the price reflects that. You're paying for the intellectual property as much as the bricks.

Ultimately, this is a set for the dedicated. If The Simpsons is your ultimate obsession and your bank account can handle the hit, then go for it. But if you’re on the fence, or if your budget is tighter, it might be wise to wait for a sale or a potential price correction. For now, it’s a buy if you’re a superfan, but a wait for everyone else.

Keep building, keep dreaming... and don't let your wallet see your LEGO wishlist.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
