LEGO Olivia Rodrigo's Concert Moon (43029): Worth ₹7,150?
Your wallet is probably already weeping from the other Olivia Rodrigo sets. Now comes the LEGO Concert Moon (43029), and it’s asking for more. This one recreates that iconic moment from the GUTS World Tour where Olivia flies over the crowd on a giant illuminated moon. It’s a display piece, pure and simple, and for fans, it’s instantly recognisable.
Unlike the other sets in this Olivia Rodrigo Editions range, which scatter song references everywhere, this set focuses on one specific stage spectacle. And it nails it. The brick-built moon, with its black and silver stars, is pretty satisfying to put together. They’ve used those clear trans-bars to make the stars float a bit, which looks good. It’s a solid display model, no doubt. The Olivia minifigure herself is a highlight. She’s got that sparkly chainmail dress, the black bikini top and skirt, and even printed details on her boots. Her face has that signature red lipstick and glittery eyeshadow. It’s a very detailed minifigure, capturing her look from the tour well.
But the real build here, aside from the moon, is the record player. It’s built sideways using a lot of SNOT (Studs Not On Top) techniques, which gives it a clean look with details like the needle arm and buttons on top. It’s a nice build, and they’ve included a couple of cool features. There’s a hidden compartment that slides out when you push a red lever. It’s a neat little trick. And there’s a brick-built version of Olivia’s ‘OR’ logo hidden in the gears, made from small tiles. Very clever. The set also includes a brick-built vinyl record, constructed using similar techniques to another set in the range. It features a sticker with more Olivia motifs like lips, plasters, and a butterfly.
The main issue? It’s a bit light on the Easter eggs compared to the other Olivia Rodrigo sets. If you’re buying these as a collection, you might notice this one is more about the single visual moment than the deep cuts. It’s a good model, a fun build with some clever mechanical bits, but it feels like it’s missing that extra layer of fan service that the others offered. For the price, you’d expect a bit more in terms of play features or those little nods to her music. It’s a decent display piece for a dedicated fan, but perhaps not the most engaging build for a casual LEGO builder. The price point feels a little steep for what’s essentially a single, albeit iconic, stage prop and a very nice minifigure.
In India, this set is not yet available at official retailers. Based on the US retail price of $49.99, expect an estimated import price of ₹7,150. That’s enough to cover 10 months of Spotify Premium Family Plan. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for when it eventually releases here. Use code ABHINAV12 for 12% off on orders above ₹500 at Toycra. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch.
This is a set for the die-hard Olivia Rodrigo fan who wants to capture a specific moment from the GUTS tour. The build is solid, the minifigure is excellent, and the record player has some neat functions. But the lack of Easter eggs and the high price make it a tough recommendation unless you’re absolutely devoted.
On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.
Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
