Two builds in one, which sounds like value, but at these prices, you'll be asking yourself if you need two Great Deku Trees or just one really good one. This isn't a casual impulse buy; this is a commitment.

This set gives you two distinct building experiences. First, there's the larger, more detailed version from Ocarina of Time. It's got poseable branches, a hidden compartment, and even a little Korok to cram inside. The build itself is intricate, focusing on replicating the texture and organic shape of the ancient tree. It’s a satisfying process, with plenty of SNOT (Studs Not On Top) techniques to keep things interesting. The designers clearly put thought into how to make plastic look like gnarled wood.

Then, you have the smaller, more stylized version from Breath of the Wild. This one is more abstract, focusing on capturing the essence of the tree rather than its exact form. It’s quicker to build, and frankly, it looks pretty good on a shelf too. The inclusion of the Korok is a nice touch, as is the little base with the Guardian ruins. Having two builds means you can display them side-by-side or choose your favourite to showcase. It’s a clever idea, but it also means you’re essentially buying two sets in one box, and the price reflects that.

The minifigures are a highlight. We get Link in his Ocarina of Time tunic, Mipha, Daruk, Urbosa, Revali, and a Korok. Having the Champions from Breath of the Wild is a solid draw, and the Ocarina of Time Link is a welcome addition for fans of that era. They add a lot of playability and display value to the set, especially if you’re a big Zelda fan. The attention to detail on the Champions' outfits is commendable.

However, the price is where things get tricky. At ₹20,399 from Toycra, it’s still a substantial investment. MyBrickHouse lists it at ₹25,499, which is firmly in ‘think about it for a while’ territory. For that kind of money, you’d expect perfection, and while the set is good, it’s not revolutionary. The Breath of the Wild version, while aesthetically pleasing, is quite small and might feel like an afterthought to some. It’s a tough call for any Zelda fan who isn't independently wealthy.
