At ₹2,999, this is firmly in the "treat yourself" category, not the "sell a kidney" category. And honestly? It’s a surprisingly charming little build that punches above its weight.

The Friends line often gets a bad rap, usually unfairly. While it’s not aimed at us grey-bearded LEGO veterans, the designers are clearly having fun. This flower shop, for instance, feels like a deliberate nod to the popular Botanicals range, but with a Friends twist and a much more accessible price point. It’s cute, it’s colourful, and it’s packed with those little floral elements that AFOLs have come to adore.

Inside the box, you get three numbered bags, a couple of baseplates, and a sticker sheet. The good news? The stickers aren't essential. You can build this without them and it’ll still look great. That’s a win in my book. We get two minidolls: Nova and Astrid. Nova’s rocking a familiar hoodie with a dachshund print – seriously cute. Astrid’s ready for some serious flower shopping in a tank top, jeans, and a visor. No pickle or dachshund sidekicks here, which is a shame, but understandable given the focus.

The main build is the shop itself. It’s not massive, but the architecture is pretty. Think pink and white awning, a prominent sign adorned with blooms, and a planter bursting with flowers. The front door is angled, adding a nice touch of visual interest. There’s a small display area off to the side, which uses some of those newer curved transparent pieces to good effect. It’s not fully enclosed, but it’s a neat little spot, even attracting a butterfly element. The back shows off some new vase pieces, perfect for holding greenery. The pavement tile detail running through the shop adds a layer of continuity that’s quite satisfying.

The interior is where the real magic happens. It’s absolutely crammed with flowers. A bouquet sits in the window, smaller arrangements are on display tables, and then there’s the floral wall – a vibrant display ready to be customized. It’s this level of detail, packed into a smaller set, that makes it so appealing. It even ties into another set, 42704 Heartlake City Grand Hotel, with Astrid apparently selecting her bridal bouquet. The review notes a missing leaf element, a minor manufacturing hiccup, but the overall impression is overwhelmingly positive.

The only real side build is a purple tandem bicycle. It’s functional as a delivery vehicle, complete with floral decorations. It’s a bit of a random inclusion, but it adds a bit of play value and fits the theme.

Overall, this set is a delightful surprise. It captures the charm of the more expensive Botanical sets without breaking the bank. While an extra minidoll wouldn't have gone amiss, the sheer prettiness of the build more than makes up for it.
