LEGO Botanicals 10371 Cozy Plants: Is It Worth ₹2,200?

LEGO just announced the Cozy Plants set, and your wallet is already bracing for impact. The Botanical Collection has proven itself to be a consistent hit, so it’s no surprise LEGO is doubling down. This new set, 10371 Cozy Plants, follows the popular Happy Plants and Rocking Plants, promising more delightful desk-sized greenery. And it certainly looks the part.

The premise is simple: two charming plant pots, each housing a different small plant, designed to bring a touch of calm and coziness to your space. Think of it as LEGO’s answer to Hygge – that Danish concept of comfortable contentment. The two sub-assemblies are a chamomile plant and a peppermint plant. We get a lavender pot and a medium nougat pot, both featuring some neat accessories. One pot comes with a tiny cup of chamomile tea, a perfect little detail for anyone who enjoys a warm brew. The other pot includes a simple book, adding to the overall cozy scene.

The build itself seems straightforward, as expected from these smaller Botanical sets. There are 248 pieces in total, split across three numbered bags. The instructions are split into two manuals, one for each plant, which is a nice touch for those who might want to share the building experience. We’re told the new pots have improved stability, with the plants fitting more snugly than in previous iterations. This means less wobbling and a more secure display. The design also incorporates changes to how the arms are connected, moving away from older Technic brick methods for a cleaner look.

Visually, these little plants are undeniably cute. The source mentions the pots have a variety of sizes and positions, though in this case, both pots are the same width. One stands 6 studs tall, the other 5. The use of parts like green claws and yellow balls of wool for foliage adds character. The overall aesthetic aims for elegance and a satisfyingly finished look, making them ideal for display on a desk or shelf.

However, the set isn’t without its minor quirks. The source hints that while the poses are cute, getting the plants to "hold hands" like in the Happy Plants set might be a bit more challenging this time around. It’s a small detail, but for those who enjoy interacting with their LEGO models, it’s worth noting. The spelling of "Cozy" versus "Cosy" also seems to be a regional variation, a minor point of confusion for collectors.

At an MRP of ₹2,200, this set falls into a reasonable bracket for the Botanical Collection. It's not a budget-breaker, but it’s also not an impulse buy for everyone. Considering the piece count and the charming display value, it offers decent appeal.

The official LEGO India MRP is ₹2,200. No live store prices are available yet, so check LEGO.in and Toycra for availability. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. That's enough for about 14 months of Spotify Premium.

While the set looks good and the build is likely enjoyable, the price point combined with the minor interaction limitations means it’s probably best to wait for a deal or a slight price drop before diving in. It’s a solid addition to the Botanical line, but not one that demands immediate purchase.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
