The wallet recoils. ₹5,700 for a 904-piece Mrs. Claus. It’s a lot of plastic, and it’s definitely not an impulse buy. We’re looking at a display piece, a hefty one at that, designed to stand out on your mantelpiece during the festive season.

This is the latest in the line of up-scaled minifigure display models, and she’s a perfect companion to the previously released Santa. They really do look good together, a proper festive power couple in brick form. The build experience is a bit different here. Instead of the usual hips and legs, you’re constructing a large-scale version of that newer skirt piece. It gives the build a unique twist, and the way the frills and embroidery on her dress are reproduced is impressive. LEGO has done a solid job of translating the detail from the smaller minifigure version.

The hair is where things get really interesting. It’s an elaborate construction, using all sorts of curved pieces to create a well-coiffed style. It looks fantastic, but it’s also proof of how much effort goes into these larger models. And the surprises don’t stop there. Inside her head, Mrs. Claus is dreaming of Christmas presents, and LEGO has hidden a small wrapped gift inside. Even more intriguingly, inside that gift is a printed tile showing a camper van. Is she planning a holiday with Santa after the big night? It adds a nice touch of storytelling to the model.

The scale of this set is what makes it special. It’s not a playset; it’s a display piece. And at 904 pieces, it’s substantial. The fact that it costs the same as the Santa minifigure, despite having more pieces, is a point in its favour. You’re getting good value in terms of sheer brick count for a display model of this size.

However, the price is still a sticking point. ₹5,700 is a significant investment for a single character model, even a well-executed one. While it’s a great set, and the companion piece to Santa, it’s hard to recommend a straight BUY NOW at this MRP. You’re likely to find better deals if you wait for sales or discounts.

Official LEGO India MRP is ₹5,700. No live store prices are available yet, so keep an eye on LEGO.in and Toycra. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. At ₹5,700, that's roughly the cost of 12 months of Disney+ Hotstar Premium. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch.

The detail and the sheer presence of this model are undeniable. It’s a beautiful piece, especially when paired with its Santa counterpart. But the price requires careful consideration. It’s a luxury item for the dedicated LEGO fan, or someone looking for a very specific festive decoration.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
