The model represents a vehicle used by the British firm Rawcliffe & Sons. It’s not your typical tractor-trailer setup. This build features a four-axle truck with steerable front and rear wheels, a flatbed, and a rear-mounted knuckleboom crane. It’s designed to pull a three-axle drawbar trailer, making it a serious piece of kit for transporting heavy loads. The builder wanted the truck to be the main event, so the cargo consists of simple crates and a small forklift.

The colour scheme is distinctly British, sporting green and red with drop-shadow lettering, a nod to the real-world company. The cab design is based on the builder's existing wind turbine transport model but adapted for this specific colour scheme. Coupling the trailer uses a clever combination of a 2x2 plate with a tow ball socket and a red Homemaker Figure hand, a piece that has been in the builder's collection for some forty years, originally from the Homemaker Hospital set.

Functionality is present, with steering axles and a crane that can unfold, though the builder notes the crane is a bit flimsy. The outriggers on the model don't extend or retract; instead, parts need to be added or removed to simulate their position, prioritizing looks over playability. This build is clearly aimed at display, capturing the essence of these powerful machines.

The inclusion of a custom-built forklift adds another layer of detail. While LEGO has produced forklift parts, they were too large for this scale. The builder creatively used parts like a Plate, Round 1 x 1 with Clip on Bottom to attach the forks, allowing for up-and-down movement, though side-to-side rotation is a bit loose. It’s a charming touch that complements the main truck.
